Floyd Mayweather’s sister Fatimah Mayweather wins first boxing fight at 44 years old on Chrisean Rock undercard

Floyd Mayweather’s family were all in attendance to watch his sister Fatimah make a winning ring debut tonight in Philadelphia.

The legendary boxing champion is currently working towards a return of his own later this year, with three bouts planned already. He was due to face Mike Tyson tonight in the Congo, but instead he had to settle for watching his sister competing in Celebrity Boxing.
Fatimah Mayweather turned 44 this January, but decided to follow in her brother’s footsteps for a bout on the undercard of Chrisean Rock vs Zenith Zion tonight. And she easily outpointed Venus Marcial to open up her career.

With the legendary Jeff Mayweather and Floyd Mayweather Sr getting in the ring to hype the crowd before she made the walk, Fatimah Mayweather made her way to the ring with a live rapper, and looked to be a little bit of a way away from reaching the family’s sky-high standards.

She was the only one throwing punches in the opening round, and seemed to have some basic combinations down. However, she struggled to find a flow, and appears to be less natural in her movement than her brother and other family members.

After two lackluster rounds to start the evening and with only one-minute rounds, Mayweather came out much more aggressive in the third. She was similar to her sibling in that her defensive abilities were on point and she was able to avoid almost all of Marcial’s attacks.

The judges ultimately scored the bout 30-27 across the board, with Mayweather claiming that she would be happy to face the winner of the main event in a future event. The show was promoted by industry veteran Damon Feldman, who is the brother of BKFC boss David Feldman.
